Is it illegal for group or nursing homes to bring in soiled bed sheets into public laundromats?

I was in the laundromat today and i saw two ladies wearing rubber gloves carrying huge plastic bags. and as i watched i noticed that in the bag were soiled bed sheets covered in vomit, urine, and feces.

I cant think that this would be legal. Shouldn't it be a law that they must provide this service themselves? Without spreading the elderlies' waste throughout the population. Is it illegal for group or nursing homes to bring in soiled bed sheets into public laundromats?
Well yes I would have thought that the Nursing Home it's self would have someone come and take their dirty stuff to be cleaned. Hospital's etc do this every day.

Next time you see the person that own's the laundromat, please tell them about it. I'm sure that they wouldn't want to have this sort of thing happen again, as there could be all sorts of health problems that could happen here.Is it illegal for group or nursing homes to bring in soiled bed sheets into public laundromats?
it can't be illegal. you wash your underpants there, and most likely, some sort of fecal matter or sweat made it's way on the underpants (that's why you wash) so if it were illegal for people to wash dirty linen covered in junk, it would be illegal for you to wash your underpants. there's also the option of getting a private washing machine so you don't have to smell the laundry of the public
No, it isn't illegal.

The elderly's waste is no different than yours.

Maybe thier washing machine broke down?

I work in a group home. They are disabled or elderly. They are not disease infested.

I have seen women washing cloth diapers in the laundry mat. Its no different.
