Why are there sparks on my bed sheets?

At night, when I rub my pajamas on my bed sheets it makes small sparks. Now, I'm pretty good with science and I understand that you need a conductor to produce the sparks. So my question is what is the conductor in this situation. (I think it's myself, but I'm not sure)

Also, for science, does the charges of two materials that are equal on the electrostatic series change if they are rubbed together? Why are there sparks on my bed sheets?
static electricityWhy are there sparks on my bed sheets?

Sorry, I have no exact idea or answer, but that happened to me last night. I was really amazed though.
