Why are my new bed sheets shiny? is there anyway to get rid of that shine?

I havnt washed them yet, but i just noticed that the new sheets i bought are shiny.

Most textiles have sizing applied to them at some point during their creation, to make them easier to work with, but it also tends to make them shiny. One or two machine washings usually gets rid of it, and then your sheets should look 'normal'.Why are my new bed sheets shiny? is there anyway to get rid of that shine?
Put it in the washer and dry it that should help the shine go away. if that does not do the trick just put it back in again. if that does not work in it bring it back to the store and get a different one you perferr
it's the thread count and cotton blend. return them for something you prefer.
