Any idea where I can find Small Double (4ft) fitted bed sheets in plain black?


I think it's quite ridiculous that it's almost impossible to find,

Four foot isn't a standard bed size, which is why you're having problems. A standard double in the UK is usually 4'6'; or 135cm in width, you have a 3/4 bed so you're looking for specialist sheets which won't be available in the usual places. And to top it off, you're looking for one of the most unpopular colours and therefore one of least available... it's not too surprising that you can't find anything. Frustrating, I know, but not surprising. I've looked through all my usual sources and I'm afraid I can't find anything. If you want white, navy, chocolate or numerous other colours, no problem, but black...? Sorry.
