How can you keep bed sheets smelling clean like they were just washed?

especially sheets for children tend to get dirty quickly, how can i keep them cleaner longer? How can you keep bed sheets smelling clean like they were just washed?
try a little febreeze when you make the bed each dayHow can you keep bed sheets smelling clean like they were just washed?
I'd say wash them more often.... if they smell, they're dirty.

Also, I suspect your kids are bathing in the morning.... if so, they should bathe at night... dirty kid in bed = dirty sheets.
I use tide with bleach and use dryer sheets and sometimes on the rinse cylce I use downy!
Shower or bath before bed and sleep in clean sleepwear will go a long way. When you get up in the morning throw the covers back and let them air while you shower and dress before making it. Children's shouldn't get dirty any quicker if they are bathed before bed and no food allowed in the bedroom.
Put a dryer sheet under neath the bottom sheet
Have you tried linen water - that comes in different scents put it in the iron or in a spray bottle and spray or iron away.
If you line dry your sheets they'll smell nicer longer. Double rinsing them almost completely eliminates the stiffness.

Kid's sheets... as long as they're in diapers or wetting the bed, there's not much you can do other than febrez or odorban in a spray bottle.
When you fold them put a couple of unused dryer sheets in between them...
I think to wash them more often is the only and best way to keep them clean, specially when you have kids in your house. You don't want to take any risk.I don't think febreze or anything else can compare to a good wash.

Hope this helps !
i go through my house and wash all bedding once per week and in between if necessary

everyday when i make the beds i spray them with renuzit or febreeze and lysol spray this seems to keep every room smelling nice and fresh
Gain Detergent ..Gain Fabric Softner. And Gain Fabric Sheets I have A 4 And 3 Year old Just outta Potty training and their sheets get wash every 2 days but still smell good when they go in the washer ..... stays fresh smelling for days.
give kids baths before bed, wash linens weekly, spray with febreeze. If child is bedwetter do as soon as possible.
Mix some lavender oil with some water in a spray bottle. When you make the bed each day, spray the bed with teh lavender solution. Also spray it on the kids curtains and pillows too. The lavender will help them sleep better at night also.
