How do you stop bed sheets from coming off my bed?

I sleep nice once in a while I'll toss and turn and the sheets fits sorta nice, the only question is how do you make it stay on without straps?How do you stop bed sheets from coming off my bed?
Just get better fitting sheets. I have a set that I love the feel of but they don't stay on the bed no matter what I do. I don't move while I sleep either, just getting in the bed is enough to make them slide. It drives me crazy, sometimes I have to get out of bed in the middle of the night and re-tuck the fitted sheet. I have another set that has great elastic in the corners and stays tucked no matter what.How do you stop bed sheets from coming off my bed?
I often buy bigger sheets than the size of the bed (non-fitted flat type) and then tuck them in with old-fashioned hospital corners. they don't move an inch.





Of course, fabric is important too. Satin and silk are very slippery - cotton or polyester-cotton is best.
I know I am gong to sound like a commercial but I love Lands End sheets because they stay on the bed. It is really hard to find ones that do. I have had a blue striped pair forever. The stripes help me know which way to turn them when I make the bed. They are soft and comfortable and I will bet I have had them five years or longer. They have all kinds so look at landend .com. I bought a Serta set rom Penneys not long ago for about the same price for my son's room and regret it.
MY FIANCE USE TO PUT ON BIGGER SHEETS AND TIE IT UNDERNEATH THE MATRESS. WE HAVE 4 KIDS THAT JUMP ON THE BED AND IT STILL STAYS IN PLACE.
