I should probably know this since I've been washing my own laundry for over 10 years, but I'm finally fed up with it. Last night I slept in what seemed like a lightning storm thanks to the static in my sheets. It was pretty bad. I'd move and SHOCK! What works to fix this? I use dryer sheets that are supposed to help but dont. When I wash my bed sheets, they come out of the dryer really staticy. How do I get this to not happen?
try liquid fabric softener, dryer sheets suck compared to the liquid... gain Fabric Softener is awesome, you could also try drying your sheets on a lower dryer setting. When I wash my bed sheets, they come out of the dryer really staticy. How do I get this to not happen?
Try using pajamas and/or sheets made of different materials. Cotton does not seem to develop as much static electricity as some artificial fibers. Thats the only thing I can think of .Buy 100% cotton bed sheets, not cotton percale either, because cotton percale is not 100% cotton
maybe its your electric personality... SHOCKing problem!
try using 2 or 3 dryer sheets or else use fabric
softener. is it windy where you live? do you move
around really fast in bed? is your hair standing on
end?
lower the dryer temperature to medium--it will take a bit longer but will be worth it Or if possible--put them out on the clothesline to dry
use dryer sheets i think they make certain ones to make clothing less staticy
