I've visited the Land of Smiles and have explored the many markets, such as Chatujak, etc... I noticed that fabrics and other similar materials are quite commonly available. I'm curious if bed sheets with 600+ thread counts are also available at a lower premium than the US. If possible, please provide some suggestions(who, what, where, why %26amp; how) and also an idea of pricing. Thanks! Are high thread count bed sheets really affordable in Thailand?
no they are expensive...but i don't know in comparison to usa anymore...i do know it is almost impossible to find a top sheet, aka not fitted sheet. Are high thread count bed sheets really affordable in Thailand?
Haven't seen them in local markets but in the ';Index'; store where a set costs approx. Bht 6'000 to 10'000.
Sorry I can't help you about that but I'd like to thank you for the clear answer about jobs in Thailand.
PEACE
JJ market, Bangkok. The weekend market. They are manufactured there to you exact spec. Expect to pay 1500-3000 for 6 peice set. Also Suan Lum Night Bazaar, also Bangkok has a section devoted purely to bedding for same kind of prices. Or like the other answers you could shop in index/central/robinson (the big supermarkets) but will cost you over double.
