ice cubes or put the whole thing in the freezer. How do you remove candle wax from your bed sheets and pillowcases?
Place an old rag over the fabric and take a hot iron to it. The wax should stick to the rag.
I always take some brown paper (this can be a grocery bag or any kind of thick brown paper), then lay a piece both on top and on bottom of your wax area.
Then take a hot iron and press it. Move the area to a new spot on the paper and press several times until it all comes out... then wash as you normally would.
Take a brown paper bag and rip it so it's all one big piece. lay the bag over the spot and using a hot iron iron over the paper bag and it will draw the oil and wax, this may take some time but it will eventually come out.
i hot iron with a piece of cloth over it to absorb the wax as it remelts....
Put the material in a freezer for several hours. Get an iron and ironing board plus a lot of paper towels. First use a butter knife and scrape as much of the frozen wax off as you can. Then place ten folded paper towels over the spot. Put the iron on top so the heat can go thru and melt the wax. Be careful not to get it on the iron. As the paper towels get oily replace them with clean ones. Then rub dawn dishwashing liquid into the spots and wash. If they sill have oily looking spots put them in the wash again with a cup of vegetable oil wash then repeat the wash with soap this time.
hey firebug why would u have a lit candle on ur bed?
if there's an oil stain left, try spraying Murphy's Oil Soap on the stain before you wash it
