How often should we change our bed sheets covers & pollow cases?

I change mine ever two weeks but is that good or bad thingHow often should we change our bed sheets covers %26amp; pollow cases?
I change bed linens EVERY week. What is a pollow? How often should we change our bed sheets covers %26amp; pollow cases?
I like to change my sheets %26amp; pillow cases at least once a week, often twice. Your preference can depend on various factors. I am in menopause %26amp; subject to hot flashes, %26amp; night sweats that cause my sheets to feel dirty more quickly. You don't need to wash the blankets, coverlets, or comforters very often, unless your dog or cat sleeps with you.
I was taught to change them every week-usually on a Sat. morning. Two weeks is the longest I would go though. Take care.
Twice to three times per week. I love the smell of fresh sheets on the bed!
';our';...you mean you and your husband?

I know some people when they're married wash the sheets daily, I'm just sayin' there's reasons why they ';have to be washed';. Other times some people make stripes down the side of the bed so that's another reason to wash them often. I've never waited two weeks to wash linens. We used to make it a rule of thumb that you change your pillow cases each time you wash your hair. Remember that any gunk, grease, perspiration on those pillow cases gets ground into your face when you don't wash them frequently.
I wash my sheets weekly. In summer twice a week.
Me too, I think thats about average. Some people are anal and like to change them every week, but i really dont think its necessary, its a waste of water.
Don't wait longer than every 2 weeks. Otherwise your sleeping in your old body soil and oils. Nasty!
Every two weeks. More if me or my boyfriend have a cold or flu or something. In the summer I try to change them more often though.

How to Care for Household Linens

----------------------------------------鈥?br>

--------------------------------------鈥?br>

Caring for household linens used to be as easy as beating them on a rock and drying them on a line.

Today, however, homemakers regularly use textiles that come in a multitude of fibers, colors, and sizes, each with specific care requirements.

Yet beyond specific instructions are some general, common sense tips for purchasing, cleaning, and caring for household linens like sheets, towels, and duvets. Did you know, for example, that towels should be washed with vinegar before using? Or that sheets can be partially ';unwrinkled'; by drying them with a damp washcloth?

Sheets

Washing

Wash in cool or lukewarm water that's less than 104 degrees F.

Set wash cycle on ';gentle';

Use the extra rinse cycle if available

Use less detergent -- about half the recommended amount

Avoid using bleach as it breaks down fabric fibers

Drying

Dry sheets in the dryer only until they're dry

Avoid over drying

Remove sheets from the dryer promptly and fold immediately

If sheets have cooled in the dryer and wrinkles have set, then tumble another 5-10 minutes with a washcloth that has been slightly dampened.

Pillowcases

Buy extra pillowcases for any sheet patterns you particularly love, as these are the pieces that will wear out the fastest.

Iron pillowcases for fresh, crisp good looks on your bed.

Change pillowcases at least twice a week in normal climates, more often in hot and humid regions.

Storage

Have three sets of sheets per bed. Use one on the bed, one in storage, and one in the laundry.

Rotate the sheets you use (vs. the sets you store) frequently so they wear evenly.

Buy extra bottom sheets for any sheet patterns you particularly love, as these are the pieces that will wear out the fastest.

Change sheets once a week in normal climates, more often in hot and humid regions.

Use a mattress pad between the mattress and sheets. Wash it when needed, at least every few months.

When sheets are used as fabric 颅 for pillow covers, shams, bedskirts, tablecloths, curtain panels and the like 颅 avoid washing them as they will lose body and become limp. Dry clean if necessary.
i Wash mine every friday
I WOULD SAY EVERY WEEK ..........THAT PROBABLY COMES FROM THE OLD WEST WHEN THEY ONLY BATHED ON SATURDAY LOL !!!!!! IT IS REALLY A PERSONAL THING...HOW OILY IS YOUR SKIN????? IF YOU HAVE REALLY OILY SKIN ON YOUR FACE AND DON'T CHANGE YOUR PILLOW CASE SOMETIMES IT CAN CAUSE YOUR FACE TO BREAK OUT 'acne'!!! SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PILLOW CASE MORE THAN YOUR BED SHEETS FOR THAT REASON!!!!!!! ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF WORK YOU DO ...FOR ME THERE IS NOTHING NICER THAN A NICE HOT BATH OR SHOWER AND SLIPPING INTO SOME NICE FRESH CLEAN SHEETS!!!!!!!!THINK ABOUT IT! HEY JUST MY OPINION.....NOT GOSPEL TAKE CARE!!!!!!!!
