Does wearing PJs make a difference to the frequency? How often should you change your bed sheets?
I think once per week is a good rule.
I'm not sure if wearing PJs would change the frequency ... but if you showered before bed that would probably extend the time before you would have to change them. And ... whether or not you have other activities going on in your bed would make a difference :o)How often should you change your bed sheets?
Once per week. Why? Dead skin cells attract mites, otherwise known as bedbugs. Always remove the sheets and pillow cases, wipe the mattress off with a dry towel then put a new set of sheets on. If you use a heavy blanket, shake it out once per week. I do this outside. Also, replace your pillows every two years, minimum.
Every other day for sheets and once a week for the mattress and pillow protectors. PJ's are the same as under-ware and should be changed daily.
Once a week is probably good whether or not you wear PJs. Also, if you sweat a lot while sleeping or have messy sex in bed, you should change the sheets more often. Gross!
On average, most people sweat out about a pint of liquid every night while they are sleeping. Even if you shower before going to bed, changing your sheets once a week sounds like a good idea.
As children we changed our pillow case weekly and our sheets every two weeks. If you wear pajamas and shower at night the sheets will stay clean that long.
Well I change em once a week.
At least once a month if you have PJ.
when they are brown, smelly and fungus ridden........every 6 -7 months
